f8 go to Cornwall

The intrepid f8 group have just spent a long weekend based at Marazion, Cornwall.

We based ourselves from a lovely rented cottage in the village.

On the agenda was the local wildlife at Marazion marshes; plenty of Herons, Egrets, Stonechats, Adders and lots of rabbits! Plus the stunning seascapes at St Michaels Mount, Porth Nanven and Godrevy.

We had some stunning locations lined up to photograph. The weather was not so kind for the first two days, but Sunday gave some lovely conditions for photographing Godrevy.

Here is the f8 'team' shot, followed by one of my images from Godrevy.

Following on from David’s success with an image being published in the BBC Wildlife magazine, Alan has had this image of a wren published in the April 2013 issue. For the past 2 years Alan has concentrated on a pair of wrens that have been nesting under his pergola in the back garden. You can see a bigger version of this image in his Nature gallery.
